The Star Figure, by Calder, is one of the most graceful ornaments of the Court of the Universe, where it is many times repeated at regular intervals on the balustrade surmounting the colonnade of the Court. The Medallion, by B. Bufano, on each of the two roman arches, on either side of the court, symbolizes "Art." Under the guidance of art the child goes to nature for inspiration. The lines are beautiful and make an interesting arabesque.
