Two groups, "Music" and "The Dancing Girls," by Paul Manship, duplicated in the Court of the Universe. Distinguished examples of classic greek sculpture. Manship spent several years in Rome, where he was won away from his devotion to the modern realistic school of Rodin to an enthusiasm for the early greek. The figures are distinctly greek in the treatment of the drapery and the hair. |
