Entrance to the Court of the Ages at night. The circular light standards were modelled from the design of a snow crystal and are intended to suggest stars. They resemble the golden monstrance used in the Catholic Church, representing the Sun's rays and containing in the small circular glass repository at the center the sacred host. On either side, rising from the top, stands chanticleer in a row, signifying the dawn of Christianity when Peter denied Christ. |
