San Antonio de Pala Mission

San Antonio de Pala Mission

San Antonio de Pala was an assistencia or chapel of San Luis Rey and was built in 1816 by Father Peyri for the Indians who lived in the mountains twenty miles away. The building remains where descendants of the old Mission converts still worship.
