The Philosophy of Despair - David Starr Jordan

Introduction:
David Starr Jordan was the first President of Stanford University. In this title he writes about depression, and concludes based on the psychology of the day, that proper mental attitude is all thats needed. People who don't overcome their depression are weak. This book is a great example of turn of the century moralism at work. This is my 25th Project Guttenberg title.

Also by the same author: "California and the Californians."
