Introduction:
A romance that takes place on Santa Catalina Island. In two parts, the first deals with a ship piloted by Sir Francis Drake, and his visit to the island, and a romance between one of the passengers and the indian chief's daughter Wildenai. The second half is a modern (1920) tale about another romance; with reference to the earlier story. This is my 32nd Project Guttenberg title.
